Currently relying on black boxes for traffic data collection and analysis, East Hempfield Township has a robust system for validating complaints, which involves examining the 85th percentile speed threshold and implementing targeted enforcement or signage. However, the existing six- to eight-week process has proven too slow to meet community demands. Urban SDK’s platform will provide the tools needed to streamline this process, reducing response times while delivering actionable traffic speed data and insights.
