Urban SDK Partners With Palm Desert

Urban SDK is thrilled to announce our new partnership with the City of Palm Desert, California. With a population around 51,000 residents and over 100 miles of roadway, Palm Desert has been proactively addressing public speeding complaints through directed enforcement and traffic calming implementations.

“We are excited to work with Palm Desert to enhance their efforts in addressing speeding complaints," said Urban SDK's Ross Loehr. "Our platform will enable the city to respond more efficiently and effectively to public concerns.”

Enhancing Traffic Safety with Urban SDK

Through our collaboration, Palm Desert will gain access to Urban SDK’s advanced tools and resources, including speed and traffic data. This partnership will empower the city to:

  • Quickly identify speeding hotspots: Utilize roadway data to pinpoint areas with high incidences of speeding
  • Implement effective traffic calming measures: Make data-driven decisions to deploy traffic calming strategies where they are needed most
  • Optimize directed enforcement efforts: Use precise data to direct law enforcement resources efficiently and maximize their impact.

"We look forward to a successful collaboration with the City," said Loehr. "Our team is committed to supporting their mission of enhancing road safety throughout the community."
